Antez is a percussionist is a sculptor who explores the sound matter by interviewing the physical perception of sound. He is convinced that the capability of sonore experimentation of acoustic instruments are without limitless. He call his instruments a device, he diverts the objects of their use.
Über Phonophon: Sometimes some people ask me why I play rarely in France, is that it's because I do not like this country?
It's true I tell them this is exceptional for me to able to play my music and that it all times it's organised by small structures unsubsidized or by friends.
Since more than thirty years that I perform I had to play in less than ten festival and as many nationnale scène.
Besides the fact that I do not practice the harassment, there is in this country some dysfunction that I describe as mafia. Programmers are often professionals, they are not interested in you if you not made part of the small family of those who already have played in some recommended festival.
If you're not Japanese or American or something that can enhance their égots or encourage fantasies but never take any risk. This is the same system conservative and perverse that we can find for grants, if you want to claim a subsidy, it is necessary already to have one if you have virtually no chance...
