Budhaditya Chattopadhyay is a sound artist, composer, and scholar, primarily engaged with field recording and electroacoustic composition based on digital manipulation and multi-channel spatialization of sound for installation and live performance. Chattopadhyay studied Cinema specializing in Sound Recording at the national film school SRFTI in India, and completed Master of Arts in New Media with a dissertation in Sound Art at Aarhus University, Denmark. His sound works have been receiving many awards and distinctions, and they are exhibited, published and performed internationally. Currently Chattopadhyay is engaged with a PhD project at Faculty of Humanities, University of Copenhagen, working on sound perception.
