18. Paul Hegarty - Ten Years

Paul Hegarty teaches visual culture, sound studies and philosophy in the French department, University College Cork. He is the author of books on noise, on progressive rock, on contemporary theory. His new book, Rumour and Radiation: Sound in Video Art, is due out on Bloomsbury in december 2014. He performs in various experimental and noise groups: Safe, Trace, Phil Collins Project, lake, and produces installations under his own name, and with Mollie Anna King. He runs the record label dotdotdotmusic, which specialises in experimental music on 7 inch vinyl.
