17. Same Actor - Eyes That Can Shout
Whilst working as a Community Musician in East London and Coventry, and learning sitar from Ramesh Chandra and Pt Shivnath Mishra in Varanasi, Chris Cook has been inspired to continue to write and perform music as a solo artist. He released music under the names Same Actor, Hot Roddy and even 'Chris Cook' with Wrong Music, Bip Hop, Spirit of Gravity, Acroplane, Discordance and Wombnet. He became a member of the London improvising group Jerico Orchestra and collaborated with Bela Emerson and Henry Collins. Performances combine Indian Classical Music with experimental use of laptop processing.
